Lightyear Network Solutions began operations in 1993 in Louisville, Ky.
In February 2010, Lightyear (OTCBB: LYNS) became a public company. In October 2010, Lightyear acquired SouthEast Telephone.
Today, the company — operating in Louisville, Lexington and Pikeville — provides data, voice and wireless telecommunication solutions to tens of thousands of business and residential customers across North America.
As a single-source provider of advanced networking and telecom services, Lightyear offers a complete array of products, including:
  • Switched, dedicated, and VoIP-based voice services
  • High-speed data services
  • Wireless voice and data services
  • Bundled voice and data services (local access, long distance, conferencing, internet, VPN, Ethernet, MPLS, etc.)
